Make your artificial lawn pleasant to use again.
Flattened pile, trapped debris and a lingering dog urine smell can take the enjoyment out of the garden. We’ll look at the grass and the drainage underneath before recommending what to do.

Start with a proper refresh.
We can remove surface debris, clean the grass and power brush the fibres to help lift flattened areas. Where pets use the lawn, we can discuss a suitable artificial-grass-safe treatment for urine odours. Cleaning can improve the surface, but a persistent smell may mean the backing, infill or base needs a closer look.
We’ll talk through what we find, rather than promising that a quick spray will solve a drainage problem.
Ask us to assess your lawnWhat is underneath matters.
Pet urine needs somewhere to drain. If it is being held beneath the grass, repeated cleaning may only give short-term relief. We can discuss whether the existing base and drainage are suitable, and whether lifting the grass and rebuilding part or all of the base is worth considering.
For some pet-used lawns, a free-draining build-up incorporating clean 4 mm stone may be an option. The right specification depends on the ground, falls, grass backing and where the water can go. We’ll assess those before proposing any changes.
Send us a few photos, the approximate lawn size and what happens when it rains or the dog uses it. That gives us a good place to start.
